Chloe turns 5!

Our BABY is 5?! And I am in complete amazement that I am writing this!
Our precious little baby girl that was born 34 days premature at 5lbs 7oz, that had to stay in the NICU for 7 days and had to come home on a heart monitor for the next 8 weeks, whom took 9 weeks to learn how to nurse....turned 5! As they say, "time flies". And here we are as her proud parents feeling very nastalgic about this number. 5 seems like a number that puts you well past the baby stages! We no longer have a baby :(

With that said...we are truly enjoying not having a baby around the house! Chloe has become a very funny little girl that LOVES her music, design games, dancing, going to school like a "big girl", having her own friends, pink, telling us how she loves us "infinity times 8, to the moon and back, and as much as Jesus and God love us, and twirling round and round, and up the stairs, and more than you love me". She is a very loving girly girl who has a very strong wil, and can argue with the best of em'. Not quite as good as her mommy, but she's only 5...give her a few years :)

She was soooo excited to have her 5th birthday party with 8 of her own friends. Friday night We had a princess sleepover, complete with pin the kiss on the frog, A princess picture backdrop(painted by mom),decorating tiara cookies, princess crowns and movie night! The only little girls that made it through the sleepover were Chloe's cousins :) I had a feeling they were all too young yet!

Sunday was a family gathering at at the pizza parlour with extended family, and on Monday (her actual birthday) Ben and I took chloe for lunch, to paint some pottery, got Aiden from school, came home, opened gifts and then off again for dinner at Chloe's choice, Red Robin! She had her favorite, Mac and cheese and of course they came along and sang happy birthday with a very large ice cream sunday! I would say, all in all....It's good to be 5!
